Designer Notes You’ll Actually Use

• Test Soysun in black and white first—no color tricks masking weak contrast or uneven rhythm.
• Check readability at 10pt on screen and 8pt printed—some glyphs tighten up more than others (the ‘e’ and ‘c’ hold well; the ‘s’ stays open).
• Mock it up on real substrates: uncoated paper, fabric swatches, matte vinyl. Soysun’s subtlety can vanish on glossy finishes if not calibrated.
• Compare uppercase vs. lowercase in context—its voice shifts meaningfully. Uppercase reads as grounded authority; lowercase leans into approachability.
